Quick verdict
LUBA 2 AWD targets large, steep and multi-zone lawns where all-wheel drive and wire-free mapping can justify a premium mower. Its 80 percent slope claim is notable, but property hazards, RTK visibility and edge geometry remain more important than the maximum number.
Models and coverage
The series includes multiple area ratings and standard or high-cut versions. Choose from measured mowable area, grass type and cutting-height needs, not the total lot size. Larger ratings also support more stored zones.
Slope and terrain
Mammotion lists up to 80 percent or about 38 degrees climbing and a lower maximum at the lawn edge. Wet grass, loose soil, holes and cross-slope travel can reduce stability. Map conservative boundaries around water and drop-offs.

Navigation
Vision and RTK provide virtual-boundary mapping without a buried perimeter wire. Trees, buildings and narrow corridors can affect satellite reception, so confirm suitable reference-station placement and connectivity across the property.
Cutting and maintenance
The published 400 mm dual-disc cutting system covers a wide path. Blades, underside, wheels and sensors still need inspection and cleaning, and the lawn must be cleared of toys, hoses and branches before unattended mowing.
Bottom line
Choose LUBA 2 AWD for a measured large or steep property that can support its navigation setup. Flat, compact lawns may be served more economically by a lighter wire-free mower with simpler maintenance.
