Quick verdict
The DELTA 3 Plus is a strong mid-size option for short outages, mobile work and camping. Its 1,024 Wh LFP battery, 1,800 W AC output and expandable design balance portability with useful appliance coverage, but buyers should build a realistic load plan before treating it as home backup.
Power and capacity
EcoFlow lists six AC outlets sharing 1,800 W, with 3,600 W surge and X-Boost support for selected loads. Capacity is 1,024 Wh. Heating appliances can fit the wattage limit yet drain the battery quickly, while startup surges must still remain compatible.
Charging options
The official page lists 1,500 W AC input and two solar inputs rated up to 500 W each. Published full-charge times assume favorable inputs. Solar results change with panel size, wiring, sunlight, shade and temperature.

UPS and expansion
EcoFlow advertises transfer under 10 ms and compatibility with several extra batteries. Verify that sensitive equipment tolerates the transfer specification and that the exact expansion battery and cable combination is supported.
Ownership tradeoffs
At about 27.6 lb, the unit is movable but not lightweight. The app, firmware and battery ecosystem add useful controls while creating dependence on a connected platform. It is not a substitute for a code-compliant whole-home backup installation.
Bottom line
Choose the DELTA 3 Plus for a portable, fast-recharging 1 kWh system with room to expand. Buyers needing multi-day heating, air conditioning or whole-home loads should size a larger system from measured energy use.
